Repent from your Dead Works to be saved (Hebrews 6:1)
Repent from your Unbelief to be saved (Hebrews 4:2)
Repent Toward God to be saved (Acts 20:21)
Repent to Acknowledge The Truth to be saved (2nd Timothy 2:25)

Repent โ€œof your sinsโ€ to be saved (Matthew 27:3-4, "Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.โ€

Judas, one of Christ's very apostles, repented of his sins and went straight to Hell when he hung himself and died. You don't get saved by turning from your sins; you get saved by receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins. John 20:31,
โ€œBut these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.โ€
