Repent “of your sins” to be saved (Matthew 27:3-4, "Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.”)
Judas, one of Christ's very apostles, repented of his sins and went straight to Hell when he hung himself and died. You don't get saved by turning from your sins; you get saved by receiving Christ's sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins. John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
