Luke 16:23-24, “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.”
Sadly, the average Baptist pastor doesn't preach on the subject of Hell even once every two years. That ought not be! Dear reader, do we really believe in a literal place of Hell? Do we really believe that men who die in their sins without Jesus as their personal Savior will go to burn in Hell forever? If so, why do 99% of churches today not go door-to-door soulwinning? Shame on all of us for not doing more to warn lost sinners of coming judgment and damnation in the everlasting Lake of Fire. Here are some sermons about Hell by Pastor Jack Hyles:
